Timefly

Time is precious to everyone but no creature understands this more than the Mayfly. To the mayfly, hours seem like years, minutes like months, seconds like days and milliseconds like hours, Timefly uses this perception of time to power it’s flight.

A motor was used to power the hands of a clock, with the ’second’ hand designed as a propeller that spins fast enough lift Timefly off the ground. Throughout the day the insect-like hands take on new forms, each new hour appears like a new species. A prototype has been made but it doesn’t fly… yet!
